The film follows the personal lives of Sean and Juliana, two classmates who try to find true love in a racially-biased world that continues to condemn their feelings for one another. It’s been 3 months since the beginning of the semester at Brooklyn College. Sean appears to be struggling with his coursework in Spanish class, and so Juliana decides to tutor him to keep his grades up. Although it’s already been 3 months (and he “shows” no signs of improvement) she always finds herself excited to spend the time w/ him. Betsy Soriano and Kai Holmes worked together as a Co-Directors— ensuring nothing but quality work visually, linguistically, and artistically.
