I work with aspiring artists that seek to build/edit compelling audio reels that showcase and highlight, the range of nuances within their unique sounds and characters. With the booming expansion of social media, more of these opportunities are paving the way for voiceover artists from around the world to build consistent lucrative success.

MEET JOSHUA PYRAM

Joshua Pyram is a trained actor, singer/songwriter, dancer, and proud Brooklynite. He is best known as the Official Mascot of Nick Cannon’s Wild N’ Out, produced by VH1 Paramount. He has performed as leading man in a variety of off-Broadway shows regionally, Stevie Wonder Tribute Cabarets, and has been active in his career as a performer for over two decades. During his off-season he spends most of his time as an event photographer, while also enjoying life as a dynamic wedding singer and emcee. He has operated as the executive producer of two short films, an original scripted sitcom series. As a first-generation Haitian-Dominican, he has fluency in French/Creole, and loves to dance Merengue, Bachata, and Kompa.

On November 18, 2020, Pyram founded a small production company based in Brooklyn, New York called 350 Studios LLC. 350 Studios is one of the very few black-owned media production companies based in the heart of Flatbush, Brooklyn. The company specializes in wedding and event photography. By request it also services local NY, ATL, and TX based clients such as actors, dancers, musical artists and small businesses with professional headshots, demo reels, or access to remote recording studios.

An alumni of Midwood High School, Pyram received his musical theatre training at the renowned HBCU Howard University, in Washington D.C., and has gone on to perform in many notable works that include Sarafina! (Ensemble), Passing Strange (Youth), Company! (David), Spunk (Sweet Back/Slemmons), Little Shop of Horrors (Orin Scrivello D.D.S.), and the One-Minute Play Festivals of New York City. During this time, he also received his first national award as a member of the Howard University Step Team.

After his training, Pyram also went on to complete a degree in Cultural and Linguistic Anthropology at Brooklyn College. As an anthropologist, he traveled to countries like India and China where he applied these skills to study language, cultural identity, and community theatrical storytelling through eastern ideologies. As a proud brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., he commits much of his time towards national community service and the academic achievements of young college students in and out of the country.

NYC’s First Post-Pandemic Off-Broadway Revue

AMT announces that the first 2022 show they will be producing in their historic new Off Broadway theater will be An Unbalanced Mind, a musical revue by Al Tapper. The state of the art facility located at 354 West 45th Street will be home to new shows, children's theater, cabaret, rentals and more. The Tapper revue opens July 12th and is directed by Kelli Maguire with music direction by David Wolfson.

‘FIST OF FLATBUSH’ (2021)

Pyram’s second self-produced project, Fist of Flatbush is an urban reimagining of ‘TAKEN’ based in Flatbush Brooklyn. The story follows Ricky Reeds on his pursuit to rescue his girlfriend Cassandra, after she has been abducted by the evil real estate tycoon William ‘Billy’ Blanks. The film highlights the concerns of gentrification in New York City, and also seeks to share the unknown history of the street fight style of 52 Blocks.

El Color Del Amor

‘EL COLOR DEL AMOR’ (2021)

‘El Color Del Amor’ is a 350 Studios LLC Short-film produced and written by Joshua Pyram. The film follows the personal lives of Sean and Juliana, two classmates who try to find true love in a racially-biased world that continues to condemn their feelings for one another.

‘THE RED RENEGADE’ (2019)

"The Red Renegade," a short action comedy film about a band of reckless rebels trying to overthrow the criminal syndicate led by the Sinister Vince Varoon (Joshua Pyram) . When the leader of the rebels is killed by a random henchman, chaos ensues as plans fall apart for both the rebels and the institution.

BROOKLYN COLLEGE GRADUATE

THANKSGIVING: FEED THE HOMELESS

Every year Joshua organizes a food/clothing drive for the Homeless, and disenfranchised inner-city youths in New York City. As a native Brooklynite, he aims to provide himself in service towards the positive progression of his neighborhood and borough.

‘LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS’ (2019)

Pyram has had the pleasure of playing Orin Scrivello, DDS, who was the secondary antagonist in the story Little Shop of Horrors. he was played by Steve Martin in the 1986 film. In all versions of the story he was a dentist and the abusive, sadistic boyfriend of Audrey.

ACCEPTANCE INTO ONE-ON-ONE

Immediately after graduating University, Joshua Pyram was invited to audition for the New York City talent agency One-on-One. He received an immediate letter of acceptance only 5 minutes after leaving the building!

‘SPUNK’ (2014)

The second piece [in Spunk], “Story In Harlem Slang”, is the tale of two street Lotharios trying to out-hustle each other and win the favor of – and a meal from – a domestic on her pay-day afternoon off. Joshua Pyram and Tray Capers both ooze sleaziness as the two males.
